Cats
This weekend i had a very nice addition to our new house. I just got two kittens that are just unbelievebly adorable. The only problem with them is that they are like those duracell commercials you see with the rabbit that keeps going and going and going. They are crazy and i forgot, stupidly enough, that they are too young to have their claws removed so i got that nasty little surprise right in the face, literally. Actually to tell the truth the cats are not even for me they are actually for a friend and im just holding them until my friend gets back from vacation. Im sure it will be a pleasant surprise for her. Well anyways im gonna head out, see ya'll later
House
Well my house is finally getting finished. Its been almost two years now but its finally going to be out of the way and i can get out of that nasty fema trailer. I have to say the first year was hard enough in that trailer but two is just way to many. Something i think is pretty funny about fema trailer is that every material that goes into making them is highly flamable. Now that just does not sound safe at all but whatever i should not be in it too much longer so im happy. Well anyways.. i will see ya'll later

Wow 8 am math classes are much harder to get up for than i reliezed and i only have trig. Overall this summer i think i have made only 3 classes. I wish that i had the urge or determination to get up in the morning and take the short walk to my class for some reason i just cant bring myself to do it. I know im lazy but i never reliezed how much so until now. Its just sad when i think about it. I just hope i can bring myself to be more responsible for the end of this semester because i need the good grades. Well anyways i got to go so ill see ya.

Injury
Well my hands are still giving me trouble after my unfortunate motorcycle accident. I cannot express enough how irritating it is to not be able to take a shower comfortably. The doctor says that it will still be a good 4 weeks before they heal so im not really looking forward to that but at least my family and I are finally finishing our house so thats a good thing coming up. Well anyways im gonna head out so i'll see ya'll later - Matt

English Report
Sudden Death
Death can come without notice. A life is an extremely vulnerable and fragile thing. It can be snuffed out in an instant in any sort of ways including illness. Its amazing that the smallest of bacteria can bring down a being our size or larger. Everyone will eventually die but it never really hits home until we are at that point in our lives. When death comes you start to think about the things you have done in your life and even more importantly the things you haven’t done. Thoughts of what you still have to do and what you could have done differently in your life.
In the story “The Jilting of Granny Weatherall”, this is seen. On Granny Weatherall's deathbed she starts to realize that her life is coming to an end and there is so much more she has left to do. In the beginning of the story the granny reliezes that she is approaching her time and so she randomly decides to try to get everything she wants done all at once such as distributing her belongings and telling her last words to her relatives. In the movie “Stranger than Fiction" this is also the situation but it has more to do with the main character just trying to become a better person than who he had been for so many years, a strict insurance guy.
Death also changes a persons outlook on life sometimes. Things may have more meaning or impression on you (such as a sunrise and sunset) or they may just literally look or feel different. In the story, the granny sees life as a portrait, almost surreal. She feels like she is constantly floating in midair when all she was doing was laying down in her bed. It can just completely alter our surrounding for us. In the movie the main character starts to see life as an adventure rather than a series of numbers and statistics. He starts to feel that he can change his life and that he doesn’t have to just be another statistic. Essentially the whole movie is about a man who is actually a character in a book currently being written and everything that is written happens in his life and he soon finds out that the renowned author writing his life always ends her books with the characters death. Knowing this the main character begins to try and find the author but in the process finds out that there is more to life than just what he had thought and that all his life all he had really been caring about was order and as the movie goes on he learns to not only stand disorder but to enjoy it from time to time. As the movie goes on he slowly learns the value of living his life how he wants it.
It is seen in both this movie and book that just the thought of death can completely change someone’s perspective on their lives and how to change them for the better or at least finish them with no loose ends like how the granny was trying to do.
Overall death is an abrupt and uncontrollable event and people should try to make the best of their time alive and should live their lives as they want to and not just the way that gets them the most money. Life is a valuable gift and should be appreciated and experienced to its fullest.
